ESTHER PHILLIPS

I am so thankful for the post of ESTHER PHILLIPS' A WAY TO SAY GOODBYE!

I was right in NYC with her for the entire recording--from its conception to its completion
in March of 1984!

If ESTHER PHILLIPS were alive, SHIRLEY ALSTON REEVES (the original lead singer of THE
SHIRELLES) would have been on that recording with her. Those were her wishes when she
left NYC--but she never saw the finished product!
